Assuming a terrifying form, you destroyed the demons and accomplished the tasks of Lord Rama.
लाय सजीवन लखन जियाए।

रघुपति कीन्ही बहुत बड़ाई।

Tuma mama priya Bharata-sama bhāī॥

सहस बदन तुम्हरो जस गावैं।

Even Yama, Kubera, and the guardians of the directions, as well as poets and scholars, cannot fully describe your glory.
तुम उपकार सुग्रीवहिं कीन्हा।
राम मिलाय राजपद दीन्हा॥
Tuma upakāra Sugrīvahi kīnhā,
Rāma milāya rājapada dīnhā॥
You helped Sugriva by introducing him to Rama and securing his kingship.
तुम्हरो मंत्र विभीषन माना।
लंकेश्वर भए सब जग जाना॥
Tumharo mantra Vibhīṣaṇa mānā,

By following your advice, Vibhishana became the king of Lanka, as the whole world knows.
युग सहस्र जोजन पर भानू।

राम दुआरे तुम रखवारे।
होत न आज्ञा बिनु पैसारे॥
Rāma duāre tum rakhvāre,
Hota na ājñā binu paisāre॥
You guard the door of Lord Rama’s abode. Without your permission, no one can enter.
सब सुख लहै तुम्हारी सरना।
तुम रक्षक काहू को डरना॥
Saba sukha lahai tumhārī sarnā,
Tuma rakṣaka kāhū ko daranā॥
Those who take refuge in you enjoy happiness. Protected by you, they have no fear.
आपन तेज सम्हारो आपै।
तीनों लोक हाँक तें काँपै॥
Āpana teja samhāro āpai,
Tīno loka hāṅka te kāpai॥
You alone control your immense power. The three worlds tremble at your roar.
नासै रोग हरे सब पीरा।
जपत निरंतर हनुमत बीरा॥

अन्त काल रघुबर पुर जाई।
जहाँ जन्म हरि-भक्त कहाई॥
Anta kāla Raghubara pura jāī,

At life’s end, one who chants your name goes to Rama’s abode and is reborn as a devotee.
और देवता चित्त न धरई।
हनुमत सेइ सर्ब सुख करई॥
Aura devatā chitta na dharaī,

संकट कटै मिटै सब पीरा।
जो सुमिरै हनुमत बलबीरा॥

जो यह पढ़ै हनुमान चालीसा।
